Laurence J. Stybel is both a corporate leader and a respected national thought leader in the field of corporate leadership.

As a thought leader in leadership, Dr. Stybel and Peter Drucker are contributors to THE HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW ON CAREER MANAGEMENT. (Boston: Harvard Business School Publishing, 2003). He is currently working on THE DIRECTORS GUIDE TO BOARD SELF EVALUATION. Larry’s work has been published in THE HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW and the CALIFORNIA MANAGEMENT REVIEW. His work has been featured BUSINESS WEEK, FORTUNE, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, THE NEW YORK TIMES, and CNN.

He received his doctorate at Harvard University in the area of organization behavior. Larry was on the management faculties of Harvard University and Babson College. He is listed in WHO’S WHO IN AMERICA and WHO’S WHO IN BUSINESS & FINANCE.

Dr. Stybel is a former actor. He received the U.S. Army Best Actor Award for impersonating a General while he was actually a Private. Larry’s most recent role was as a physician in a children’s cancer ward in the 2002 rock video, “Brian.”

He has given keynote addresses to organizations such as the Executive Search Summit, Association for Corporate Growth, The National Association of Corporate Directors, National Convention of the Financial Executives International, the American Management Association, the American Marketing Association, and the New England Human Resource Association.
